What is the Cleveland+Pittsburgh+Youngstown Regional Learning Network?

It is a group of community leaders and professionals coming together to learn from national experts and one another and about how government, universities, non-profits and businesses are addressing our common issues. We collectively face population decline, job losses, vacancy and foreclosures, but we are creating new futures for our cities though new industries, innovative housing programs, creative land reuse strategies
and emerging green and sustainable opportunities.

Our first meeting was held in Youngstown in June 2008 with 120 participants from the 3 cities. Through the downloadable videos and power points on this website, you can hear the presentations from that gathering. Following the event a dozen learning exchanges happened between the 3 cities. You can learn about these exchanges by clicking here or on the "Learning Exchanges" tab at the top of this page.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for networking, information sharing, and collaboration within this very important region. Please join us and contribute your knowledge and ideas.

This is a collaborative effort of many partners from the 3 cities lead by Neighborhood Progress, Inc. in Cleveland. It is generously supported by
the Surdna Foundation.
